Lori Ferber

My passion for real estate can be attributed to my love of people. Everyone has a story, and each one fascinates me. It's the people that I would otherwise not have known, and the life stories they share with me that I love the most about my job.

I was born and raised in Toronto, and as much as I loved the big city life, once we decided to start a family we packed up and moved to the Waterloo Region, before landing in small town Elora to raise my 5 wonderful children (4 girls and 1 boy) alongside my amazingly patient husband!

As an active and involved community member, I volunteer at many local initiatives, including the Victoria Park Seniors Centre and The Community Resource Centre delivering groceries, packing backpacks and helping out with the Chili fest fundraiser. Basically, I like to help out however, and wherever I can.

Personally, I enjoy food, wine, gardening, traveling, and at my happiest when I can get all my kids together and we spend time together as a family.

The best part of my job is that every day brings something new. New people, new properties, new technology and new obstacles to get through. I feel great when I can bring a smile to a client's face. Moving can be high on the list of stressful things to do, so when I’m able to ease that stress and burden for my clients to help them get where they need to be, it feels good. I thrive to exceed their expectations so that they remain lifetime friends, who will also be comfortable referring their friends and family to me and knowing they will be left in good hands.
